im doin a paint job on someones house im up and down a ladder whilst doin it as its on the roof line,?
the area im painting is 60ftx1ft i would like an idea of how much to charge? the paint is provided by the customer so im just doing the labour, it needs 2 coats (primer/gloss) it should take approx 6-7hrs due to the location im painting!

I have to do some research for a school project. I wasn’t really listening but it was some geezer who did a painting called the Moraliser or something. I think his name was Leonard O’… something. (probably an Irish chap) Any clues?

Any tips on using sugar soap on painted woodwork?
The paintwork in my house – doors, skirting boards – is discoloured through tobacco smoke. I intend using Mangers Sugar Soap to clean it down, now that we have both stopped smoking.
I have read somewhere that unless you wash every last trace of it off the woodwork, you will have problems painting. But I don’t intend painting it for a while – the paint is sound. Its just discolouration.
Any experiences or tips?

Does your art (painting, drawing etc) represent what you're feeling?
I do art at my school and a year ago I did a 1m by 1m canvas. I’m really shy so I thought it would decide to do a still life with calm colours but my painting is crazy and has loads of vibrant colours in it. What I don’t understand is that usually painters paint depending on their personality but when everyone saw my painting they were really shocked. How come I painted like that?

what is the average wage for a painter in wales?
i have recently started my painting business with my partner, but am unsure how much to charge customers. i a currently charging £120 a day(8 hours work,£60 each).This includes prep work.2 emulsion coats on ceiling and 2 on walls, and als glossing skirting.This is for an average10"x"10 room. Am i charging too little.Thanks

Painting wall after wallpaper removed?
Hi
We have bought a house which has some really funcky 8 wallpaper.
So we have scrapped this all off and in places there was paint underneath, which is pealed in places and is coming away in others, what can I do?
I have had a go at sanding but its not really doing much, whats the answer? I can imagine painting and it will show where the plaster level and patchy first layer of paint are.
