Uneven plaster for painting?
After stripping the walls in our new house we have been left with bits of wallpaper and paste that is making it too uneven to paint over and also holes in the plaster where we have taken radiators off etc. What’s the best way to smooth out the plaster so it’s suitable to paint on. We have been told we need top re-plaster everywhere but the plaster has no cracks or anything it’s just uneven from the old wall paper and picture hooks etc. Any suggestions?

advice needed on painting outside shed/toilet?
We just moved in to this house and there is a outside toilet in the garden so i thought it would be handy for the kids to use instead of dragging the mud through the house. Someone has already painted it before but the paint is peeling off so my girlfriends dad said just paint stabilising solution over it then just repaint it but i removed all the paint and washed the walls down but since washing the walls down i got this white fluffy stuff coming out the mortar in some places. Can i brush the white fluffy stuff off then give it a coat of stabilising solution or will i need something different.
